Does anyone remember going to Sunday School?

The Sunday School teacher was a Miss Diane Penn.

I remember going most Sundays from quite an early age and, then, in later years, staying afterwards for the church service. I, with my brother, Allen, sister, Denise and cousins were the first choristers! We were paid a penny (I think) per service and we even went on strike once when we hadn't been paid for over a year!!

This was all before the time of Mr. Plummer, the Choirmaster!
