Marylin Clarke ( Copsey ) - Fairy!

My Mum and Aunt Mary were Brown Owl and Tawny Owl for a short while. When I became Girl Guide age, I still attended Brownie meetings as I was the only Guide in the village.

I remember polishing my 'Brownie gold'( 1d.), each week with Brasso, to put under the Toadstool.

Denise Backham (Copsey)-I was an elf! Would have preferred being a Fairy ! Can still remember "this is what we do as elves - helping others not ourselves". Another memory is being in the woods somewhere at Brownie Revels (?) with a cotton wool tail and rabbit ears (I was the white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland!) Oh-and the pride of having the shiniest badge!

Bronwen Catton (Snelling) - I was a Fairy but I can't remember what the Fairy mantra was, can anybody else remember? I remember going to Brownie Revels in Swaffham, we all had to be red indians complete with head-dresses, it was a great day.
